Quiet Nature partner projects
“I engaged Quiet Nature (then operating as Naturally Maintained) for two landscape projects – from initial concept through to completion. The first was a front entrance way where I wanted a Muskoka look. Derek was able to capture the look and for a small entrance way, it was simple, clean, low maintenance and set the house apart from anything else in our neighbourhood.
The second project was a fairly complex outdoor living space, complete with an outdoor kitchen, fire pit and water feature. Derek listened to what we wanted and spent considerable time creating the concept for the look, feel, and function we desired. Quiet Nature was able to translate the concept into reality delivering impeccable craftsmanship, paying attention to detail and adapting on the fly. They were easy to work with, very professional and extremely knowledgeable. If problems arose or design elements weren’t working, Derek and JP looked for solutions. The team understands customer service.
Our project won three Landscape Ontario awards – very exciting for both Derek and us! The craftsmanship and quality of our wonderful outdoor living room is superb. The space is very natural and relatively low maintenance. We live outside in the spring, summer and fall, enjoying each season equally and every minute that we can be outside. Before the project, we rarely spent time outside and now, it’s our second living room!
After our project was complete, Derek held a customer workshop where we were able to meet other customers and provide direct feedback. Both my husband and I were struck by how consistent the message was in sharing our experiences with other individuals. There was a very strong theme – regardless of the size of the project, Derek and his team really listen to the customer and what they want. Derek may challenge a design element if he thinks there are other options or better ways to do something but ultimately, decisions are made collaboratively and with the customer’s interest first and foremost. Derek and JP are creative and not afraid to step out of the box. They are environmentally conscious and deliver a superb experience and end product.
